Recuperative Care
A safe place to heal.
Our Recuperative Care Program provides temporary housing and support for people experiencing homelessness who are recovering from an illness, injury, or hospitalization.
On a daily basis, patients experiencing homelessness are discharged from the hospital onto the streets, exasperating their health conditions.

As 1 of 3 Recuperative Care Programs in Michigan, the Shelter Association is proud to offer safe patient discharge alternatives and significant hospitalization cost savings.
