Third-Party Events
The SAWC welcomes individuals and organizations to organize a fundraiser to directly benefit those experiencing homeless. It could be a concert, fundraiser, car wash, bake/garage sales, golf tournaments, sporting events, charity auctions, token drives and more. Endurance for Change: Running Across Michigan to Support Our Neighbors
On March 2, a senior from the University of Michigan will begin an extraordinary journey by running across the entire state of Michigan from Lake St. Clair to Lake Michigan.
This powerful effort is part of Endurance for Change, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for individuals experiencing homelessness across the state.
We are honored to share that our shelter will be at the 55-mile mark of his route. As he passes through our community, we will be there to cheer him on and stand in support of his mission.
